International Practitioner Day Compost 2017

The Austrian Compost & Biogas Association is pleased to invite you to the 5^th compost industry exhibition in St. Margarethen/Knittelfeld (Styria). The Practitioner Day will present innovations in composting technology and recent trends and visions will be discussed.

In Austria, currently almost 404 compost plants transfer about 1,16 million t of source separated organic waste and quality certified sewage sludge into high quality product compost and compost based substrates. The successful partnership between plant operators, innovative engineering and research has enabled the continuous progress in the development of machines, facility design and quality management in composting.

An international audience will experience mobile machines for shredding and crushing biomass, newest techniques in the area of compost turners, sieving and separation technologies, process monitoring and controlling, manipulating and transporting as well as compost spreading. All this for a wide range of capacities and type of feedstock.
